TSA's 'random' screening isn't so random when you're brown. Airport security, border crossings, traffic stops—all opportunities to prove you're not a threat just for existing. The privilege is being able to travel without suspicion.
"Your English is so good!" Thanks, it's my first language. "You're not like other..." Stop. Just stop. These microaggressions are exhausting, but calling them out makes YOU the problem. Can't win.
